For 10+ years Coralie Belman was active in the development of the recommended core curriculum delivered in the travel programs across Canada for entry-level skills training for the occupation of travel counsellor. In addition, for the Ministries of Education in Ontario and BC, her team of consultants reviewed curriculum submissions made by colleges to the Ministry of Education as a Subject Matter Expert to ensure that the learning outcomes were meeting the training needs of new employees for the travel industry.

Where possible, we draw upon the tourism industry established guidelines in the emerit occupational standards and certification programs for occupations in the tourism industry. These programs are developed by Tourism HR Canada (formerly the Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council (CTHRC)) of which Coralie Belman was a Board Member for 10 years.
